Pipsc Tentative Agreement 2019

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) has announced a tentative agreement with the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) for its members.

The agreement includes a 2.8% wage increase over four years, as well as improvements to several benefits, such as parental leave and professional development.

The agreement also includes a one-time $400 signing bonus for eligible members.

The tentative agreement will now be presented to PIPSC members for ratification.

Once ratified, the new agreement will apply to approximately 60,000 federal public service employees represented by PIPSC, including scientists, engineers, and information technology professionals.

PSAC and other federal public service unions are still negotiating with the government for separate agreements.
